Installation Credentials
Installation:
BICSI Installer 1® (INST1®)
It is a non-renewable certificate. It demonstrates entry-level knowledge and skills for installing information and communications technology (ICT) systems. The certificate validates basic knowledge in the proper and most current methods of installing ICT-related cabling within the confines of a commercial building structure. Competencies include, among others, the installation of cables, termination, and testing of copper and coaxial cables.
BICSI Installer 2, Copper® (INSTC®)
BICSI-certified copper installers are qualified to work with structured cabling systems (SCS) and network components. Copper installers perform their duties in accordance with industry best practices, methodologies, standards, and BICSI codes.
BICSI Installer 2, Optical Fiber® (INSTF®)
BICSI-certified copper installers are qualified to work with structured cabling systems (SCS) and network components. Copper installers perform their duties in accordance with industry best practices, methodologies, standards, and BICSI codes.
BICSI Technician® (TECH)
Technicians are specialists trained to work with complex systems that perform highly technical installations and diagnostic testing on structured cabling systems (SCS) and network components. Technicians must perform their duties professionally and in accordance with industry best practices.
